Way too many ads

I get ad-supported games, but this one has way too many ads. You cant take a step in the game without being subjected to another ad. Take a run - ad. Change menus - ad. Sometimes you have to clear one ad to get rid of another behind it. On an aging iPad this very often just causes the game to crash.

And why are most of the ads landscape when the game is portrait? It makes the ads feel like something slapped on at the end of the process.
